B.C.E. is the first Govt. College in Bihar to start this course. The department was established in 2001 with the hope to have the best talents with the best of skills. The department of C.S.E offers unique combination of courses and projects that help its students cope with the recent documents in the computer industry. The important courses offered are Advanced microprocessors , Analog interface electronics ,Data base management system ,Software Engg.display and memory devices distributed computing and Information system design. The students acquire proficiency in many programming languages viz. BASIC, FORTRAN, C, C++, JAVA, PASCAL, LISP and PROLOG etc. under different operating environments of WINDOWS, LINUX, UNIX and LAN etc. Stress is given on subjects like Programming methodology, Compiler design, Automation theory, Artificial intelligence, Computer Architecture etc. The department has signaled the advent of new era in B.C.E. and Bihar.
