B.C.E. Bhagalpur with it's glorious past, has
been rendering yeoman service to the nation and
engineering fraternity by channelising the youthful
talent from Bihar and elsewhere and producing
brilliant engineers. Our well placed alumni are
a proud testimony to this. They have done the
institution proud and carved a niche for themselves,
in India and abroad.
In these fast changing times, when demands are many, challenges
multifold and patience in nano-seconds, we are conscious of the
responsibilities on our shoulders. Our students need to be at the
cutting edge of technology, always alert and equipped with the most up-to-date knowledge.
To this end the setting up of a TRAINING & PLACEMENT UNIT (TPU), has been a step in the
right direction. This unit has played an active role in bridging the gap between the
industry and the students. The students know, now, what is required of them when they
finish their education. They no longer feel overawed at the through of employment.
On the contrary, it has added to the zest and competitiveness of the junior students.
They attack their subject more vigorously. The faculty is also kept on their toes.
They better improve their lectures or they will be boo-ed out!. The industry has also
benefited vastly. They are able to draw on quality manpower, from a hitherto unknown
source. They vie with each other in being the first to recruit students.
The Training and Placement cell has begun leveraging on its networking efforts with B.C.E.
alumni and it seeks to secure job offers for B.C.E. students apart from obtaining information
on job openings in their organizations. We are clearly focused on our core activity of training
and placement of students and I would be restless till the time we achieve 100% placements.
