Welcome to the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. The department was initially founded in the year of 2001, offering an undergraduate programme to the students admitted through IIT JEE and BCECE Board. Later, a post graduate programme in Microelectronics and VLSI Technology was also introduced in the year 2019. The B. Tech and M. Tech courses are well-designed with a regularly updated syllabus. The department is strengthened by highly skilled faculty experts and housed with well-equipped modern laboratories and extensive computing resources. The department has established itself as making a substantial contribution towards education, research, and development of outstanding careers for the students. The students actively participate in the cultural activities, technical events etc. which helps in their personality development. The department conducts various workshops, expert lectures and industrial visits providing exposure to the students for their exceptional career. The ECE department’s alumni are doing well, working for various public commissions, administrative services and reputed private firms. The students are also motivated towards the higher studies and they are getting research opportunities from various top institutes like IITs, NITs, IISC. etc. Apart from the curriculum laboratories, the department is also facilitated with some research laboratories like PCB lab, advanced software lab, microwave lab etc. that helps in solving technical challenges of the present scenario.
